Kristin Murphy

Production Assistant, Episodes 2 and 4

Kristin's short film Creep won the New York Institute of Technology Film Festival’s Best Cinematography Award in 2014 and was featured in Student Filmmakers Magazine in 2015. She looks forward to becoming a director of photography.

Kristin has worked on the sets of music videos, films, commercials, and web series. She was a member of the grip and electrical department on the feature film My Brother’s Keeper, which appeared in the Manhattan Film Festival. She was an editor and production assistant at The Bindery, a firm that produces, shoots, and edits commercials and promotional videos. She also interned for the company Light Iron, where she learned from the digital intermediate industry’s top conformists and coloring specialists. 

She has experience in a broad range of filmmaking activities, including camera operation, lighting, editing in Final Cut Pro, shooting with a green screen, and creating animation with Adobe After Effects. She also studied the history of film with her mentor, the filmmaker and visual effects specialist Michael Ventresco.
